Flowhub’s Walk-In Sale feature makes it simple to serve customers who are ordering directly from a budtender. There are a few different ways to make a sale (walk-in, walk-in fulfillment, order ahead, delivery, etc.). This article will walk through the basics of making a walk-in sale.
Process a Walk-In Sale
Follow these steps to complete a walk-in sale from start to finish:
Navigate to Cashier in Flowhub Maui.
Check in a customer via the Greet App, by searching for the customer or creating a new customer (or Guest Checkout if that applies to your store).
Select the customer from the queue on the left panel.
The customer's name will appear in the upper left corner. This indicates that you are now working with this customer.
Search for the product you would like to sell, use the filters, or scan a SKU.
Select the purple plus button to add an item to the cart. If the purple plus button is not visible, you must scan the SKU to add an item to the cart per the store settings.
You can change the quantity by clicking the plus button multiple times, scanning the barcode multiple times, or adjusting the quantity in the cart on the right.
Review the cart summary for accuracy and compliance.
Verify item limits, medical ID requirements, and discounts.
Select Collect Payment
Enter the payment method & unique 4-digit PIN number
Select Check Out
Email/Reprint the Receipt or Exit labels.

Can a Walk-In Sale be linked to a loyalty account?
Yes. Once the customer is checked in, enroll the customer in Loyalty. This option is only available if you have a loyalty program set up.
Do Walk-In Sales count toward daily purchase limits?
Yes. Each transaction is tracked and reported through the regulator integration to maintain compliance.
What should be done if a Walk-In Sale fails to upload?
Review the sale in Regulator Sales. The failure may be due to an invalid package tag, a finished package, or incomplete customer information.
