Deactivate a User

When an employee leaves your dispensary, it’s important to remove their access to Flowhub to keep your data secure. In this article, we’ll guide you through deactivating a user in Maui so you can maintain accurate employee records and protect sensitive information.


Deactivate an Employee

  1. From Main Menu in the top-left corner, navigate to Employees.

  2. You will default to the Users tab.

  3. From the user list, select the user you want to deactivate.

  4. Select Deactivate.

  5. A message will display confirming that the employee has been successfully deactivated.

💡 Tip: Deactivating an employee removes their system access immediately but keeps their record for reporting and compliance history.


View or Filter Deactivated Employees

You can easily view all deactivated users in your employee list:

  1. Above the Search by keyword bar, select the Status filter.

  2. Choose Deactivated to display only inactive employee records.

Does deactivating an employee delete their data?
• No. Deactivation only removes login access. Their history remains available for reporting and compliance tracking.

Can I reactivate a deactivated employee?
• Yes. Simply open the employee’s profile and select Activate to restore their access permissions.
