Flowhub Drawers make it simple to track cash and reconcile transactions for each employee session. In this article, weโll guide you through creating a new drawer so transactions stay accurate and compliant throughout the day.
Create a Drawer
Open the Menu in the upper left and navigate to the Drawers page in Flowhub.
A list of active drawers will display.
Select New Drawer in the upper right corner.
Enter the required information:
Name: The name of the drawer (ie, POS 1, Register 1, Left Drawer, Register 1 a.m., Register 1 p.m.).
Drop Trigger Balance (optional): When the balance hits the number entered when you created the drawer, the trigger will appear as a red message on the register line item. This will then indicate to your team that the amount in the drawer is over the "Drop Trigger Balance".
Rooms: Enter the room that this drawer can sell out of. A drawer can only sell out of a Room marked as For Sale.
Inventory Type: Depending on your store settings, you might be able to select whether the drawer is used for Medicine, Recreation, or Both.
Select Save in the upper right corner to finalize setup.

Do I have to create a new drawer every day?
