Use Kiosk to Simplify Self-Service Ordering

This article describes how customers can use a Flowhub Maui Kiosk at your dispensary.

Flowhub Kiosk allows customers to browse products, build carts, and place orders directly from in-store tablets. This feature helps reduce wait times, streamline checkouts, and empower customers to shop independently.


Access Kiosk Mode

  1. On the Kiosk device, open the Flowhub Kiosk app or visit kiosk.flowhub.com.

  2. Log in using the Kiosk credentials created for that station.

  3. Once logged in, the Kiosk will automatically open the menu for customers to begin shopping.


Order Here Page

  • The Customer will select "Tap to Shop" anywhere on the Order Here page to view the product listing page to view items available for purchase.


Add Items to the Cart

  • Customers can search for items, filter by Category, Strain Species, Terpenes, Tags, Effects or Prices on Kiosk.

  • The Customer can select any Product listing on the page to view more details about the Product. Any Images and Descriptions on your Products in Flowhub Maui will be visible here.

  • For items that are sold by weight, the customer is prompted to select which weight unit they're purchasing:

  • If an item does not have a picture, Flowhub displays a default weed leaf picture.


Checking Out a Bag

  1. Once the customer is ready, they will select the cart icon in the upper right corner to view the items in the bag and finish the transaction.

  2. The Customer will be brought to a page where they will be prompted to enter their Name and Phone Number.

3. Once the Customer enters their information and selects "Finish Order," the order is submitted to Flowhub, and the Customer can wait in-store while it is fulfilled.


Fulfilling Kiosk Orders in Flowhub Maui

  1. Once an order is placed at a Kiosk, it will appear in the Store's Order Ahead tab in Cashier with the "Kiosk" tag. Kiosk Orders will be managed in the Order Ahead tab of Cashier, like any other Order Ahead order in Flowhub.

  2. Select Customer Name to view the products in the order.

  3. When the Order has been fulfilled, select Mark Order As Ready

  4. The budtender will then select Match Profile and Check Out to associate the correct Customer with the order and collect payment.

  5. If the Customer's profile was created via Kiosk, it will appear on the Match profile screen, and it can be used by selecting Use This Profile

    • If you'd prefer to associate the order with a different customer profile that already exists in your database, select Merge with Another Customer

    • If Merge with Another Customer is selected, the user can then select which Profile to associate with the order.

  6. Once a Profile is associated with the Kiosk Order, the user will be brought to the Collect Payment screen to complete the order.


Completion

Kiosk setup and check out are complete once customers can view products and submit orders seamlessly from the tablet interface. Employees can monitor and fulfill these orders directly from the Flowhub POS.


FAQs

Can multiple Kiosks be active at once?

Yes. Each Kiosk login can be tied to its own tablet, allowing several devices to run simultaneously in the same store. Each Kiosk should have its own login.

Do Kiosk orders sync with POS inventory?

Absolutely. All Kiosk orders pull from the same live inventory as the POS system to ensure accuracy.

What if the Kiosk loses internet connection?

If the device disconnects, the Kiosk will pause. Orders won’t submit until the connection is restored.

Can customers check out directly from the Kiosk?

Customers can build carts and submit orders. Final payment and pickup are completed at the sales counter.
