Flowhub Kiosk allows customers to quickly check in from a dedicated device. Creating a shortcut ensures the kiosk is easy to access without needing to search through menus or applications.

Kiosk Setup on iPad

  1. Ensure Kiosk has been enabled for the dispensary by a Flowhub employee

  2. Open the Safari web browser on the iPad

  3. Navigate to kiosk.flowhub.com

  4. Select the Share button to the right of the URL in the top bar of Safari, then select Add to Home Screen.

  5. Select Add. This will "install" the Kiosk webpage as an easily accessible "app" on your iPad's home screen.

6. Lock Kiosk Screen (optional, but recommended):

  • Lock the Kiosk screen on the iPad so customers aren't able to exit the app and go to different websites/apps on the iPad

  • Enable Apple's iOS Guided Access setting, which can put the iPad into a "kiosk mode." Guided Access allows the dispensary to set up a password to remove the website from guided access mode when needed. These instructions outline how to enable Guided Access on an iPad.

Kiosk Setup on Windows Device or other Computer

  1. Ensure Kiosk has been enabled for the dispensary by a Flowhub employee.

  2. Open the Google Chrome web browser on the computer.

  3. Navigate to kiosk.flowhub.com.

  4. Next to the URL bar in the upper right, select the icon that looks like a computer with an arrow pointing down.

    • Whether or not this icon appears in Chrome is dependent on the hardware that is being used. This may not be available on Android tablet devices, which is why they are not recommended for Kiosk.

  5. A prompt will appear to Install the website as an app. Select Install.

  6. Flowhub Kiosk will now appear as an app or shortcut on the computer or other device

Completion

With the shortcut created, kiosk access is now faster and more efficient for staff and customers. This ensures smooth check-in processes and keeps operations streamlined.
