Promote a Deal on Kiosk

This article describes how you can mark a Product Discount Deal on your Kiosk page.

This article shows how to highlight a Product Discount or Buy one Get one Deal on your Kiosk menu using Flowhub. When enabled, any product matching the deal parameters will display an On Sale tag on the kiosk interface.


Activate/Create a Deal

  1. Login to Flowhub Maui (app.flowhub.com)

  2. Select Deals from the left menu

  3. Create or Edit a deal and make sure the following parameters are met:

    • Discount Type: Product or Buy and Get

    • The following settings cannot be enabled when creating a promoted deal:

      • Limit by Customer Group

      • Exclude Customer Groups

      • Total Uses

      • Uses Per Customer

      • Deal Applies to Customers X Purchase

      • Promo Code

  4. Ensure Promote This Deal on Flowhub Ecommerce is selected

    • Add a description and terms (optional)

  5. Save as Active

Any products that apply to this deal will have a Sale flag on the item on the Flowhub Ecommerce site.


Filter On Sale in Kiosk

  1. When at the Kiosk select Filter to the right of the search bar

  2. Select the checkbox that says On Sale

  3. Your customers can then view all items that are marked as On Sale


Completion

By following the steps above, you can surface promotional deals directly on your kiosk interface, helping customers see discounted items easily and increasing conversion. Once configured, any applicable products will automatically be flagged with an On Sale label and display deal details.


FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Can I promote other types of deals (e.g. bundle deals) on the kiosk?

A: No — only Product Discount and Buy and Get deals are supported for kiosk promotion.

Q: Will the “On Sale” tag appear even if the product is out of stock?

A: No, it will only show on products present in your kiosk inventory.

Q: If I deactivate the deal later, does the tag disappear?

A: Yes — inactive deals don’t show the promotion tag.

Q: Can I promote multiple deals at once?

A: Yes, provided products satisfy each deal’s criteria. Each applicable product will display its relevant “On Sale” tag. The way the deals are applied depends on your store settings and Deal Stacking.
