Loyalty Redemption in Flowhub Ecommerce

Ecommerce loyalty point redemption allows loyalty-enrolled customers to redeem their points when their order is placed. This article walks through the customer experience and how to set up redemption.

Set Up Loyalty Deals for Ecommerce

To make a deal redeemable with loyalty points on Ecommerce, you need to configure two things on the deal itself in Flowhub Maui:

  1. Navigate to Deals from the left menu and select the deal you want to promote

  2. Under Purchase Deal with Loyalty Points, check the box and enter the point cost

  3. Under Flowhub Ecommerce Settings, check Promote on Flowhub Ecommerce and add an optional description or terms

  4. Save the deal as Active

To feature the deal on your Ecommerce Deals Page with a promotional image:

  1. Navigate to Ecommerce → Customize → Deals Page

  2. Select Add Deal and choose the deal from the list

  3. Upload a supporting image (4:3 aspect ratio required) and configure display dates and locations

  4. Select Save to publish

What Your Customers Will See

Once a verified customer has items in their cart and loyalty points available, they will see a View Rewards button in the cart with their current point balance displayed.

Selecting it opens the Loyalty Rewards modal, where they can redeem points in the following ways:

Basic dollars off: A flat monetary discount off their order total, available unless you have Disable Apply Points to Cart enabled in your store settings

Cart discounts: Dollar-off or percent-off deals displayed as product cards that customers can apply to their order

Product discounts: Carousels of specific products the customer can add to their cart using loyalty points

Buy/Get deals: A step-by-step workflow showing exactly what the customer needs to purchase and what they will receive in return

Loyalty deals featured on your Deals Page will appear with an Exclusive Loyalty Deal badge. Logged-in customers can click the deal to view eligible items, add them to their cart, and apply their points directly from the deal listing page.

Logged-out customers will see a Sign In or Register prompt.


Troubleshooting

Customer Eligibility

For a customer to redeem loyalty points on Ecommerce, they must be logged in with a verified profile. Profile verification happens one of two ways:

  • Their phone number on file is a 1:1 match to their Flowhub customer profile ad they've verified their number, or

  • Their profile gets linked to a Flowhub loyalty profile after their first Ecommerce purchase

Customers who are not yet verified will not see the loyalty redemption option in their cart.

Loyalty Program

This feature works with Flowhub's built-in loyalty program only. It does not work with integrated 2-way Loyalty.
