Intelligence gives you a flexible workspace to explore pre-built dashboards, build your own views, create custom reports, and look up metric definitions in the Data Dictionary. Think of it as the upgrade from fixed Analytics reports to a fully customizable data workbench where you control what you see and how you see it.
What is Intelligence?
Intelligence is a step up from the Analytics you already know. Instead of fixed reports, you get a flexible workspace with four main areas:
Pre-built dashboards — Ready-to-use views covering sales performance, inventory, employee metrics, and more.
Custom dashboards — Drag in the metrics you care about, filter by store, and save views you can return to every day.
Custom reports — Pull any combination of fields into a table, group and filter as needed, and export to CSV.
Data Dictionary — Look up exactly what each metric means and how it is calculated.
💡 Tip: Intelligence runs on BigQuery, so most queries return results in 1–2 seconds.
Access Intelligence
Intelligence is available directly in your Flowhub menu. Look for the Intelligence tab in the left navigation.
💡 Tip: Intelligence uses the same permissions as your existing Analytics access. If you can see Analytics, you can see Intelligence. Admins can manage access from your account settings.
Where to Start
If you are new to Intelligence, here is the recommended path:

Understanding Your Metrics
Intelligence has a lot of fields, and some have specific definitions that affect how the numbers are calculated. Before drawing conclusions from a report, it's worth checking the Data Dictionary to confirm each metric means what you expect.
Intelligence vs. Analytics: What's Different?
Intelligence and Analytics may show different numbers for the same time period. This is expected. Key differences include:
Voids — Intelligence includes voided transactions in certain calculations where Analytics does not. This means totals may differ, especially on older date ranges.
Real-time vs. batch — Intelligence queries live data. Some metrics refresh more frequently than they did in Analytics.
Evolving metrics — Intelligence is actively adding new fields. If something you need is not available yet, select the Leave Feedback button in the upper-right corner of Intelligence in the platform. The team reviews every submission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate login or subscription to use Intelligence?
No. Intelligence is included in Flowhub and uses the same login and permissions as Analytics.
Why do I see different numbers in Intelligence and Analytics for the same date range?
