Flowhub Intelligence Reports provide detailed, tabular views of your business data that you can filter, customize, and export. In this article, we'll guide you through navigating report templates, using report controls, and scheduling reports so your team can access the numbers they need on a regular basis.
If dashboards are your storefront window for quick visual insight, reports are your back office: detailed, exportable, and built for the people who need to dig into the numbers. Intelligence comes with pre-made report templates, and you can also create and save your own custom reports.

Navigate to Reports
Navigate to the Intelligence tab in the left navigation.
Select Reports.
The reports landing page displays several views to help you stay organized:
All Templates shows all pre-made report templates. These are marked with a Flowhub icon and cover common reporting needs out of the box.
Organized so you can browse templates by Category: Sales & Revenue, Customers, Staff & Operations, or Inventory.
Favorites displays any reports you have starred for quick access.
My Saved Reports shows all custom reports you have created and saved.
Scheduled Reports lists all reports with active delivery schedules.
New Report allows you to create reports using our templates that are organized by category: Customers, employees, inventory, and sales.
Use Report Controls
When viewing any report, the following controls are available at the top of the report:
Set a Date Range
Select the date range dropdown.
Choose a preset range or select a custom date range from the dropdown.
Compare Date Ranges (Trend Mode)
Select a Compare option from the dropdown next to the date range area.
Small numbers will display beneath each tile showing how current performance compares to the selected comparison period.
For example, a tile may display "+84%" to indicate sales increased 84% compared to the same period last year.
Trend Mode is not available for reports that include the date column
Group Report Data
Select the Group By option.
Choose how you want results grouped: by store, date, product, brand, or other relevant options.
You can also ungroup results to view flat, ungrouped data.
Apply Filters
Select the Filter button in the top left corner of the window.
Choose from available filter categories such as purchase type, voids, order types, brand, and more.
Available filters will vary depending on which report you are viewing.
Filter by Store
Select the Store picker at the top of the page.
Select a specific store or view all stores.
Search Within a Report
Enter a keyword or value in the Search bar at the top of the report.
The report will filter to display matching results, similar to the search functionality in analytics.
Manage Report Settings
Select the wrench icon on any report.
From the settings panel, you can:
Rename the report and add or update a description.
Set Visibility to private, shared with all users who have Intelligence access, or with specific people & roles.
Toggle Trend Mode on or off to display comparison indicators.
Add new data columns to the report.
Drag and reorder columns into your preferred sequence.
Select Apply to save your changes.
Download a Report
Select the download icon on any report.
You'll have two options.
Download Current View - includes grouping, pivoting, and aggregations.
Download Raw Data - flat rows with no grouping.
Favorite a Report
Select the heart icon on any report from the reports landing page or from within the report itself.
The report will appear under the Favorites tab on the reports landing page.
Schedule a Report
Select the schedule option from the report's menu (accessible from the three-dot menu on the reports landing page, or from within the report itself).
Choose a delivery frequency:
Daily sends the report every day.
Weekly lets you choose which day of the week.
Monthly lets you choose a specific day of the month or send on the last day of the month.
Add the email addresses of individuals who should receive the report.
Save the schedule.
π‘ Tip: The Scheduled Reports tab on the reports landing page is a great place to manage report deliveries, especially when there is employee turnover. You can see all scheduled reports, who receives them, and unschedule deliveries from one central location.
Work with Pre-Made Report Templates
Pre-made report templates are marked with a Flowhub icon. You cannot permanently edit a template, but you can customize it on the fly (adjusting columns, filters, and grouping) and save it as a new report under Saved Reports.
From the reports landing page, you can also select the three-dot menu on any template to quickly schedule it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit a pre-made report template?
You cannot permanently modify a pre-made template. However, you can customize it on the fly and save it as a new report under Saved Reports.
What file format do report downloads use?
All report downloads export as CSV files.
Can I send a scheduled report to someone outside my organization?
Scheduled reports can be shared with individuals by email address. Confirm with your account settings whether external email addresses are supported.
