Your Loyalty Pass is a daily touchpoint with your customers. It lives in their mobile wallet and shows your branding, their loyalty point balance, and a scannable barcode for pass-only deals. By customizing the template, you make the pass feel professional, trustworthy, and aligned with your brand. Changes you make to the template will automatically update for any customers who already have the pass installed.
Open the Pass Template Editor
Navigate to Marketing > Passes from the left navigation
Select Edit Pass Template

Add Your Branding
A branded pass builds trust and ensures customers know it's from you.
Upload your Logo. This is what customers see front and center on the pass
Upload an Icon. This small badge helps the pass stand out in their mobile wallet view
Set a Cover Image and Accent Colors to match your brand
π‘ Tip: Use high-contrast colors and clean imagery so the pass stays easy to read on any phone.
Choose Front-of-Pass Dynamic Fields
Select which customer details should display on the front of the pass. Options include:
Name
Loyalty point balance
Keep the selection simple. Show only what is most helpful for both staff and customers.
π‘ TIP: Displaying loyalty points is a great way to remind customers of their rewards at a glance.
Barcode Settings
By default, the pass uses a Code 128 barcode. Scanning this at checkout activates any βpass-onlyβ deals you've set up.
π‘ Tip: Do not change the barcode settings. If you do, pass-only deals will not work correctly.
Customize the Back of the Pass
Edit the Pass Name (this defaults to your business name)
Use the back of the pass to add helpful details such as:
Store hours
Links to your online menu or promotions
Reminders or special offers (for example, "Double points on Tuesdays")
The back of the pass works like a mini info board. Make it useful without overcrowding it.

Save & Publish
When your design is ready, select Save
Select Publish to push updates live
Any customers who already have your Loyalty Pass will see the changes automatically.

Will existing customers see my template changes?
Yes. Once you publish, updates are reflected automatically on already installed passes.
Can I change the barcode type or format?
No. Leave the default barcode settings. Changing them will disrupt pass-only deals.
How many fields should I show on the front?
Less is more. Display only the essential fields (such as name and points) to keep the pass clean and easy to read.
