If you are using Maui for Windows or Mac, scanners are connected to the computer directly and may not need additional configuration in Maui.
Flowhub supports several barcode scanning hardware device options. These devices scan inventory barcodes to add items to carts.

Connecting a Socket D750 or Socket D740 to iPad
This scanner will be connected to the iPad by Bluetooth.
Open the Flowhub Maui for iPad app on your iPad.
Select the printer icon in the upper right corner.
Select "Scanner Setup" from the lower left corner of the Hardware Settings window:
On the next page, select the "Socket" tab underneath "Bluetooth Scanners":
Follow the instructions:
Ensure Socket Scanner is powered on and in Pairing Mode:
Power on the reader.
Press the trigger button, then the power button, and hold both until you hear 3 beeps.
Power on the reader, it will be discoverable.
Connect the scanner in the iPad bluetooth system settings.
Ensure the Socket scanner is in Application Mode by scanning the barcode.
Flowhub Maui will confirm when the scanner is properly connected, and you can scan a barcode to test.
Test is successful if the SKU that was scanned appears in the box.
Your Socket Scanner is ready to use with Flowhub Maui.
Connecting a Zebra 6080 Scanner to Maui
For iPad
Open the Flowhub Maui for iPad app on your iPad.
Select the printer icon in the upper right corner.
Select "Scanner Setup" from the lower left corner of the Hardware Settings window:
On the next page, select the "Zebra" tab underneath "Bluetooth Scanners":
Follow the onscreen directions:
Ensure the Zebra scanner is powered on and not paired with any other device. It must be "Forgotten" by this device or any other device before pairing.
Initiate pairing by scanning the barcode that displays onscreen. The scanner will beep four times. An alert will appear on the iPad after a few seconds.
Tap "Pair" when prompted:
Scanner will show as connected on the screen.
Flowhub Maui will confirm when the scanner is properly connected, and you can scan a barcode to test.
Test is successful if the SKU that was scanned appears in the box.
Your Zebra CS6080 Scanner is ready to use with Flowhub Maui.
For Windows
If the scanner is Bluetooth: Click the Windows Start button and type in "scanners.” You should see the option "printers and scanners" pop up
Once it opens, on the left, you'll see the option for "Bluetooth & devices"
Then click "+ add device," and it should pop up
If the scanner has a corded USB cradle, you should just connect the cradle to the computer. The scanner will be recognized as a keyboard in Windows.
If you are still having trouble with scanning, you may need to disable keypad emulation by scanning the configuration barcode sequence below. (Note- you MAY need to re-pair the device after this sequence, if it is a Bluetooth scanner)

What if the scanner won’t pair?
Confirm it’s not already paired to another device.
Reset Bluetooth pairing on your iPad and try again.

Do I need to configure anything on desktop Maui?
No — if the scanner works elsewhere (e.g. in a text editor), Maui will accept input automatically.
Will this scanner work for scanning IDs or only products?
This setup is for inventory/product SKU scanning and ID scanning (e.g. in Greet or Cashier).
