You can add customers/patients to Flowhub via a CSV file upload. This upload runs in the background and allows you to continue working in Maui until it's complete.
Upload Customers via CSV
- Open the Menu in the upper left corner and select "Customers" 
- Select on the "Upload CSV" button in the upper right corner 
- Select "Get Template." - The template will download onto your computer (tip: check your downloads folder) 
- Customers must be uploaded in the format provided in the template 
 
- Fill in the CSV file with the proper information, and save it as a CSV file for upload. - Anything with an asterisk (*) in the heading is required to upload the file. - The following information is required: - Rec - Full Name, Date of Birth, & State 
- Med - Full Name, Date of Birth, State, Med Card Number, & Med Card Expiration Date 
 
 
 
- Once the spreadsheet is complete, go back to the "Customers" section in Flowhub and select "Upload CSV" in the upper right corner 
- Choose your saved file, select your file type, and select "Upload." 
- To check the notifications in the upper right corner for updates, select the bell icon in the upper right corner near your store name and user initials. 
- When the upload is complete, there will be another notification. 
- If you have any errors, the notification will state "Download customer upload errors." Click on the error notification to automatically download the CSV error file. 
- The first column in the template will show you which errors ocurred - below is an example of customers missing Date of Birth information - "Birthdate is required": 
- Fix the errors in the CSV and reupload to Maui. - Tip: you may need to put the corrected errors in a new template. Do not include the first column with the name of the error in the upload. 
 
Tips for Uploading via CSV:
- You can only upload CSV files with 4000 lines or less. If you have a file larger than that, break it down into files with 4000 lines or less. 
- Anything with an asterisk (*) in the heading of the customer upload template is required to upload the file. 
- If you upload the same customer spreadsheet twice, you will have duplicate customers. Be sure to download the errors CSV, fix the errors, and then re-upload to avoid uploading duplicates.
