You can add inventory to Flowhub quickly by using a CSV file upload.
Upload Products via CSV
Open the Menu in the upper left corner and select "Inventory"
Once in "Inventory," select "Products" across the purple bar at the top of the screen
Select the "Upload CSV" button in the upper right corner
Use the dropdown menu to select the category you would like to upload.
Select "Get Template." Repeat for all product categories.
Add your products to the CSV files, and save them as a CSV file for upload.
Anything with an asterisk (*) in the heading is required to upload the file.
The template will download onto your computer (tip: check your downloads folder)
Products must be uploaded in the format provided in the template
Save as a CSV file.
We recommend saving the file as the category name
Go back to the "Products" section again and select "Upload CSV" in the upper right corner
Choose your saved file, select your file type, and select "Upload."
If you have any errors, you will see what errors occurred, and an option to download the CSV with the errors. Fix the errors in the CSV and reupload.
Repeat for all categories.
Tips for Uploading via CSV:
Anything with an asterisk (*) in the heading is required to upload the file.
If you are using Product Variations, your Product Name must be the same, otherwise, you will create multiple products.
Bulk Editing Product Catalog via CSV
The ability to make bulk edits to your product catalog using a CSV file is helpful if you need to change the price, type, brand, etc. for multiple products. All fields except for product/variant names can be updated. If the name of the product/variant is changed, a new product will be created in your catalog.
Below are steps on how to bulk edit products.
Download the Product Catalog Full Details report from Analytics
Navigate to products > select upload CSV> select the product category template you want to download. Updates to your products need to happen on a category-by-category basis since the required fields for each category differ.
With the product catalog full details report and category-specific CSV template, copy/paste the fields from the product catalog full details report to the category-specific CSV template.
Make updates to the fields that you would like to bulk update. Examples of this include bulk updating pricing for a specific brand, bulk updating brand, or type.
The Product Name and Variation name must match the product you would like to update exactly. If the name and/or variation name does not match exactly a new product will be created.
Upload the spreadsheet, any errors will be displayed and you will receive a confirmation message telling you the products have been uploaded.
