Products is the home base for information about each of the items you sell in your dispensary. Products allows you to add variants to products like shirt sizes, dosage sizes, flavors, and more so that you can keep your product catalog precise and organized. This article will explain how to add products and their variants and provide examples for variants in popular categories.

Note: Maui's Categories are currently added through Flowhub's backend, and not yet directly in-app. If you need a category added please email help@flowhub.com for further assistance.

Adding Accessory Items to Catalog:

  1. Navigate to the pop-out window on the left side of the screen and select INVENTORY.

  2. At the top of the screen, select PRODUCTS.

  3. Select the NEW PRODUCT button.

  4. Select a Category from the drop-down menu.

    • Your categories will populate the required fields when creating products and Inventory items.

    • These required fields are marked with an asterisk and can vary based on your market.

    • These fields can include testing information, terpenes, serving size, and more.

  5. Enter a Name.

    • It is best to follow the same naming conventions across all your stores. This will help identify items in the cashier app and make transfers between stores seamless. For example, if your naming conventions are brand, name, and type, an example accessory would look like the following: Sandy Shores Hemp Wraps.

  12. Enter an optional Par Level.

    • The lowest number of items you want to have in stock before reordering.

    • This information can be retrieved in Analytics by running a Par Level Report.

    • Both of these settings are optional for accessory items.

    • You can use these if your dispensary sells bulk CBD or Hemp flower that is not tracked by compliance authorities.
