Manage and Create Banners in Kiosk & Ecommerce

Flowhub Banners in the Kiosk and Ecommerce allow you to highlight promotions, updates, or helpful information directly to customers using your digital menu. In this article, we’ll guide you through creating and managing banners so your customers always see timely and engaging messages.

Banners rotate in a carousel format, displaying up to 8 banners, each for 10 seconds at a time.

Create a Banner

  1. Log in to your Flowhub account.

  2. Navigate to Ecommerce in the left menu.

  3. Select Customize across the purple bar at the top

  4. Select the Banners along the left menu

  5. Click + Add Banner.

  6. Enter your banner details:

    • Banner Name – Internal name for staff to recognize the banner

    • Active Stores – Select the stores on which the banner should appear on the Kiosk and Ecommerce

    • Banner Image – Upload your banner image.

      • Full-width: 2560x300px | Half-width: 1274x300px

      • Filetypes: PNG with optional transparency layer or JPG

    • Product Selection – Select the products shown when the banner is selected

      • To make the banner interactive, use the filters, price, and sort options to customize which products will be shown when a customer clicks on a banner. If nothing is selected, clicking on a banner will take the customer to a list of all inventory.

    • Banner Cycle – Choose how the Banners appear

      • Drag and drop the banners into the desired order to cycle on the page.

      • Half-width banners stacked on top of one another on the list will display next to each other on rotation.

      • Hiding a banner will prevent it from being displayed on your kiosks/ecommerce, but it will save the banner's details in the dropdown list in Banner Details for a later date.

Can the same banner be used in both the Kiosk and the Ecommerce?

Yes. A single banner will be applied to both platforms, ensuring consistent messaging across channels.

Is there a limit to the number of banners that can be created?

No strict limit exists. However, maintaining a small number of banners helps avoid overwhelming customers and keeps the experience streamlined.

Can banners be scheduled to appear at certain times?

No. Banners could be made in advance and then hidden until they are ready to be shared with customers.

What image size works best for banners?

For best results, use images that are:

  • Full-width: 2560x300px

  • Half-width: 1274x300px

Can banners be edited after publishing?

Yes. Any published banner can be updated, and changes will appear immediately in both Kiosk and Ecommerce.

What happens if a banner is deleted?

When a banner is deleted, it is permanently removed and will no longer display in Kiosk or Ecommerce.

  • Go light on text. Let bold visuals catch the eye; use the destination page to deliver details.

  • Stay fresh. Swap artwork for holidays, local events, or new drops so the menu always feels alive

  • Mind contrast. High contrast images with a single focal point convert better than busy collages.

  • Test the link. After saving, click the banner in the shopper view to confirm it lands on the right products.

  • Plan mobile first. More than half of cannabis shoppers browse on phones, so mobile-specific images prevent tiny, unreadable copy.
