Transferring inventory is a valuable feature for dispensaries with multiple locations. The ability to transfer products from one store to another allows for flexibility with inventory management preventing product from expiring or sitting on a shelf. This article will explain how to transfer inventory from one location to another.
Please note: the "Transfers" tab in Flowhub Maui does not correspond to Transfers in Metrc. To import your Active Packages into Flowhub as inventory, use the Metrc tab.
To Initiate a Transfer
Navigate to "Inventory."
Find and select the item you’d like to transfer.
Select "Transfer" on the right side of the screen.
Select the Room from which you wish to transfer.
Select the Destination Location of the item.
Set the Quantity you wish to transfer.
Select "Submit."
You are not able to transfer an item with a pending discrepancy.
Monitoring and Accepting Transfers
Navigate back to Inventory.
Select "Transfers" from the top of the screen.
Highlight the transferred item you’d like to accept or view.
On the right side of the screen, select "Accept" or "Reject."
Choose the Room you want to accept the transferred product into.
Select "Submit."
Best Practices:
Make sure you have the correct permissions for your assigned role.
Send Transfers: Gives the user the ability to create transfers to other stores.
Accept Transfers: The user can accept the transfer sent from another company location.
Price Profiles are set up at the company level to make transferring flower between locations seamless.
