NMS2S: Generating and Associating Integration Credentials for Flowhub

This article explains how to set up your API connection between NMS2S and Flowhub in New Mexico.

In order to connect Flowhub to your NMS2S instance, you will need the following:

  1. A user in Flowhub that is your defined Admin at the Store level. Regulatory Credentials are at the store level, not the individual user level. Set up credentials once on one user, set as the Admin in settings, and you're connected. This process must be accomplished once for every Store under your Client.

    1. Because you are only able to have 1 credential per State on a user, you will need to identify unique Admins per Store Location, instead of having 1 person as the Admin for all locations. Each location needs its own token — reusing one across multiple locations won't work.

  2. To find/generate these credentials in NMS2S:

    1. Create a location token in NMS2S

      1. Sign in to NMS2S when you receive access and go to Locations. Select the location you're setting up and generate a token for it.

      2. Tokens are location-specific, so confirm you've got the right one selected before moving on.

  3. To enter the credentials on the Flowhub side:

    1. Add the credentials to the the Admin's Regulatory Credentials on their Flowhub Employee

      1. (do this ONLY on September 4th, not before. Your Biotrack connection needs to stay valid from Sept 1 - Sept 3 to continue reporting sales to Biotrack as per the state's directions.)

        Copy the token from NMS2S.

      2. Login to Flowhub, select your initials from the upper right corner of Maui, and select "Account Settings."

      3. Enter your credentials from NMS2S into the appropriate fields for NM Regulatory Credentials in Flowhub, and Save and enter your PIN to ensure changes are saved.

    2. Ensure that user is set up as the Regulatory Admin in Store Settings

      1. From Maui, select the name of your Store you're currently logged into, and select "Store Settings."

      2. Under the Regulatory Compliance section, select the user you've set up for this location as the Regulatory Admin.

      3. Perform this action - define a user, copy Location ID and credentials onto Flowhub, set user as Admin for Store - for each Store under your Client.
