Flowhub Gift Cards can be used just like cash to complete purchases. This guide will explain how to redeem a gift card as a payment method during checkout in Cashier.
Redeem a Gift Card in Flowhub
Navigate to Cashier
Start a New Sale
Begin a new transaction as usual by adding a customer to the cart.
Add Items to the Cart
Build the cart with the products being purchased.
Select Collect Payment in the bottom right corner
Enter the Gift Card Number
Scan or manually enter the gift card number.
Select Inspect
The available balance will display automatically.
Change the amount to be used on the gift card by clicking on the dollar amount in the green box.
If the entire gift card is not being used, the remaining balance will appear.
Apply the Balance
Any additional funds required can be paid via other methods, depending on your store's policies.
Enter your 4-digit PIN and Check Out
The receipt will display the amount of the gift card redeemed, and if applicable, the gift card balance.

Can multiple gift cards be used in one transaction?
No. Only one gift card can be used as payment per transaction.
Can partial balances remain on a gift card?
Yes. Any unused amount stays active for future purchases.
What happens if the gift card balance isn’t enough to cover taxes?
The remaining amount can be paid using any other accepted payment method.
