This article describes how to link your VeriScan device to the Flowhub Maui Greet app to allow you to scan IDs and check in Customers.

If your store uses VeriScan to scan IDs when checking customers into your store, it's possible to link your VeriScan Device to the Flowhub Maui Greet app so that an ID scanned with VeriScan also creates a Flowhub Maui profile for a Customer and checks them into the queue.

Please note that VeriScan Device IDs must be "one-to-one" associated with each Greet app mobile device you are using.

  • Configuring two Greet apps to the same VeriScan Device ID would result in both apps having customers checked in the queue from one device, which could result in duplicate customer profile creation in Flowhub.

Enabling the VeriScan Integration with Greet

Your store must have an active Greet subscription to use this feature, and also be set up with VeriScan.

  1. First, reach out to help@flowhub.com to request that the VeriScan integration be enabled for your store.

  2. Once this has been enabled, log into the Greet App on your mobile device, and select the gear icon in the upper right corner to access Settings.

  3. Underneath the Address Collection settings in Greet, select the "VeriScan Device ID: " button to enter the ID of the VeriScan Device you are linking to the Greet app.

    • The Device ID can be found in your VeriScan Cloud account under Access Management -> Devices by selecting the edit button next to the device. The Device ID will display on the "Update Device" modal.

  4. Next, you'll set up a webhook in VeriScan to complete the integration. Log into your VeriScan Cloud account and select "Webhooks" under Integrations from the menu on the left.

  5. In the WebHook Endpoint Name, you may enter whatever you like, such as "Greet."

  6. Under Headers, enter:

    • Name: x-veriscan-signature

    • Value: [your client-specific Flowhub-generated integration token]

  7. Ensure that all 4 checkboxes at the top of the webhooks page - "SignAgreement", "CreateCard", "UpdateCard, and "CompleteScan" are selected. This will ensure your webhook is enabled.

  8. Select "Save Settings" in the upper right corner to save the webhook.

  9. Once the integration is complete, you will be able to scan an ID with VeriScan and have the customer appear in the Greet app in Flowhub to be checked into the customer queue.
