The Metrc "On Hold" Packages setting enables Flowhub to automatically detect "On Hold" packages in Metrc and prevent sales on those packages. When enabled, each time you access the Metrc Discrepancy Management tool and a package is on hold, it will be automatically labeled as such and the package will no longer be sellable.

Enable On Hold Packages

  1. Select the store name in the upper right corner

  2. Select Settings

  3. Navigate to the "Inventory Tab"

  4. Enable On Hold Packages

  5. Save.

When conducting transactions, the plus button will be grayed out for on-hold packages:

If the SKU of an on-hold package is scanned, the following message will be displayed:

View On Hold Packages

  1. Navigate to the Inventory Section

  2. Toggle on "On Hold"

The hand icon below in the inventory table visually indicates that the package is on hold and cannot be sold. Furthermore, you can quickly filter to on-hold packages via the toggle seen here. You will also see this hand icon in the Metrc Discrepancy Management tool when a package is on hold:

Remove a Package from On Hold

Automatically:

When a package is no longer on hold the "On Hold" checkbox on the inventory item will be automatically unchecked to reflect this and the package will be sellable again.

Manually:

  1. Navigate to the Inventory Tab

  2. Select the inventory item you would like to remove the Hold

  3. Select Edit on the right side of the screen

  4. Scroll down to the "Supplier & Batch" section

  5. Unselect the "On Hold" checkbox
