Unable to Connect to Flowhub - DNS Error

When users are unable to connect to https://pos.flowhub.co there may be an issue with their ISP.

If you are getting a spinning wheel in the Flowhub Application, or you are unable to access https://pos.flowhub.co, there may be an issue with your ISP.

CenturyLink customers in Colorado:

This is a known issue. You will want to call CenturyLink Internet support at 1-877-646-3282 and inform CenturyLink that the site pos.flowhub.co is being blocked and ask CenturyLink to remove the block.
Note: This request could take several hours.

Change DNS Settings - Windows:

If you do not have a hotspot or if cell service is weak in your area, you can try the below steps to change the DNS Server/Provider. These steps are only recommended if you are comfortable working with computers.

  1. Open Control Panel.

  2. Click on "Network and Internet."

  3. Click on "Network and Sharing Center."

  4. Click the Change Adapter Settings option in the left pane.

  5. Right-click the network interface connected to the internet, and select the "Properties" option.

  6. Select and check the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" option.

  7. Click the "Properties" button.

  8. Click the "Use the following DNS server addresses" option.

  9. Type your "preferred" and "alternate" DNS addresses.

  10. Google Public DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

  11. Click the "OK" button.

  12. Click the "Close" button.

Change DNS Settings - Mac

  1. Navigate to your System Preferences on a mac and select "Network."

  2. Select the "Advance" icon in the lower left corner of the System Preferences screen.

  3. Select on the "DNS" tab and then enter a new DNS where we you enter in Google’s DNS address (8.8.8.8) and add in a backup redundant DNS (8.8.4.4).

  4. After entering in the new addresses, select "Ok" and then close out of your system preferences.

  5. Close out of the Flowhub App and the Chrome Browser version entirely and attempt to reconnect to pos.flowhub.co or the Flowhub App.
