Tax laws vary by location. If you need to make a medical patient exempt from taxes in Flowhub, do the following.


Note: Remember this setting is only available for medical customers/patients.

How to Add Tax Exemption to a New Customer Profile

  1. Select "Customers" from the left side of the navigation menu.

  2. Select the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the main page.

  3. Select "med" next to the customer's name.

  4. Enter all the required information just like you would when entering any new customer.

  5. Then, near the bottom, select "Additional Info."

  6. Scroll to the bottom, where you'll see the "Tax Exempt" check box. Check it.

  7. Select "Add" to add the customer to the database. Select "Add & Check in" to save and check the customer into the queue.

How to Add Tax Exemption to a Current Customer Profile

  1. Select "Customers" from the left side of the navigation menu.

  2. Select the "download icon" next to the "+" in the upper right corner.

  3. Search and select the customer in question:

    • Med Customer look up
  4. Select the "Edit" button to pull up the customer information page.

  5. Scroll to the bottom, where you'll see the "Tax Exempt" check box. Check it.

  6. Select "Update."
