Flowhub’s inventory transfer tools make it easy to move cannabis products between locations or rooms while maintaining compliance and accurate stock counts. In this article, we’ll guide you through transferring inventory so your team can keep products available where they’re needed most.

Before You Begin

Before creating a transfer, confirm the following:

  • The inventory item has no unresolved discrepancies

  • You have permission to Send Transfers or Accept Transfers, depending on your role

  • You have a Metrc API key attached to your profile

  • If transferring part of a package, the package has been split ahead of time

💡 Tip: Items with pending discrepancies cannot be transferred until the issue is resolved.

Create an Inventory Transfer

  1. Navigate to Inventory.

  2. Locate the inventory item you want to transfer.

  3. Select Transfer in the right-side panel.

  4. Enter a Transfer Name that clearly identifies the movement.

  5. Select the Room where the inventory is located.

  6. Select the Destination Location.

  7. Enter the Quantity to transfer.

    • If you would like to transfer only part of the package, and the inventory item is regulated by Metrc, ensure that the package has been split in advance.

  8. Select Submit to create the transfer.

  9. Complete the steps above for any additional items you would like to add to the transfer.

    • When adding to an existing transfer, select the drop-down box and then select Add to Transfer
