Navigation
Navigate to Ecommerce > Customize > Categories
If you do not see the Ecommerce option on the menu side navigation, you need to have Ecomm enabled on your User Role. Click here to learn more about setting up ecommerce roles.
Upload Custom Icons
Select the category you want to update.
Click the Upload button or drag and drop a file from your computer.
Use PNG or SVG file formats (recommended size: 300x300px, max file size: 10MB).
Click Save to apply your changes.
Your updated icon will appear live on your ecommerce menu shortly after saving.
Rename Categories
If your category names in Flowhub are super long or very descriptive, you can shorten the display name to make browsing easier for your customers.
Locate the category you'd like to edit.
You'll see the original Flowhub category name in large bold text.
Underneath, enter a new Display Name to appear on your Ecommerce menu. (Example: Change “1 gram infused prerolls” to “Infused” or adjust “Flower” to “Bulk Flower”.)
Click Save to confirm.
Renaming only affects what customers see on your website, it does not impact your back-end inventory or reporting.
Reorder Categories
You can organize the order of categories shown on your ecommerce homepage to highlight best sellers or featured items.
To reorder:
Drag and drop categories into your desired order
or
Use the Position dropdown to assign an order number to each category.
Note: The All Products category will always remain fixed at the top of the page for optimal navigation.
Hide Categories
If there are categories you do not want to display in your category home page selector, you can hide them by clicking on the “display in menu” option. This will move the category to the bottom of the layout page and hide it from your home page until you re-enable it.
