In Oregon, dispensaries can sell the same products to Medical and Recreational Customers under a single retail license. Flowhub Maui allows you to easily manage unique Medical vs Recreational pricing for these Products. If your dispensary is using Out the Door pricing in Flowhub, a Med and Rec price will be required for all products.
What happens if you don't do this?
If you do not establish a Med or Rec price for products, the customer will be charged the Rec price with no associated taxes (since Medical patients do not get taxes in OR). See some examples below:

Setting up Med vs Rec Price Sets on Products
Use the navigation menu on the left to go to Inventory, then select Products at the top of the page.
Select the Product you would like to set up unique Med and Rec prices for, or select "New Product" to build a new Product.
Under the Pricing information on the Product, you will see a toggle for "Inventory Type" next to the Price and Cost:
Med-specific Price:
Select "Med" as the Inventory type and enter the Default Price and Cost. This is the price Medical customers will pay for this Product.
If this is a Product that can only be sold to Medical customers, do not add a Rec price set to this Product. Keep the Inventory type as "Med." . This will ensure you can only sell this Product to Medical customers.
Rec-specific Price:
Select "Rec" as the Inventory type (or, "Add Rec Price Set" if there is already a Med Price) and enter the Default Price and Cost. This is the price Recreational customers will pay for this Product.
When a Product has been set up for unique prices for Med and Rec inventory types, it will look like the below:
Note: Using Batch-specific pricing will override med and rec prices. Batch-specific pricing can be entered when adding inventory and should not be used if you use different prices for Med vs. Rec customers.
